A slogan on his 2020 campaign website reads: "As Attorney General, Gentner Drummond will take on a new mission: defend our rights, uphold the Rule of Law, and serve the People of Oklahoma, not the political elite."
April 6, 2023 - Attorney General Drummond filed a motion with the OCCA requesting the conviction of Richard Glossip be vacated and remanded to the district court stating: "While the State has previously opposed relief for Glossip, it has changed its position based on a careful review of the new information that has come to light, including its own Independent Counsel's review of the case."

On May 26, 2021, five days after filing for divorce, Hunter announced he was resigning effective June 1 because "certain personal matters that are becoming public will become a distraction for this office". Although it is questioned if the resignation had something to do with this case...
2011 - 2017
Elected in 2010, he served until 2017 when he resigned to accept President Trump's appointment to EPA Administrator. By July 2018, Pruitt would be under multiple federal investigations over his spending habits, conflicts of interest, extreme secrecy, and management practices.
Pruitt represented Tulsa and Wagoner counties in the Oklahoma Senate from 1998 until 2006.
1995 - 2011
Prior to his election as Oklahoma Attorney General, he served as District 15 Attorney from 1983 to 1992.
In 1978 he was an Assistant District Attorney serving under District 15 Attorney Mike Turpen.

An interesting article in the Oklahoman states: "the state Supreme Court has unceremoniously turned down her attempt to continue to expose political corruption in Oklahoma by refusing to impanel another statewide grand jury."
